Some chefs require longer periods to prepare the meals compared to others which is why some may have a longer cancellation period than others. The cancellation policy is here to help chefs recover costs from last minute cancellations.
The chefs have their individual cancellation periods listed on their profiles. The time mentioned is the period before the booking date and time. Cancelling before this time enables you to a full refund¹. Cancelling a booking within the chefs cancellation time means you will receive 50% of your total booking amount².
1. You will have 100% of your booking amount returned (minus bank transfer costs).
2. You will have 50% of your booking amount returned (minus bank transfer costs and half the uKitchen commission cost i.e. 7% of total booking fee).
